Cornish Coastline in pencil
As well as enjoying the more colourful art of pastel pencils, I like to produce artwork using more traditional graphite pencils. This seascape is based on a photograph taken on the coastline near Land's End, in the beautiful south-west English county of Cornwall. The trickiest part I found was getting a good representation of the sea. The drawing was completed as an exercise for the art group I belonged to between 2010 and 2012 and was displayed in the group’s art exhibition at the end of 2011.
