Without Sin
The request for this painting came out of the blue. My wife and I used to do a Betterware round and one of our existing customers had viewed this website and asked if I would do a painting for him. He had seen the original painting called ‘He That is Without Sin’ by artist Liz Lemon Swindle and wanted a version of it, with a few alterations. I had not done a religious painting or a crowd scene before and the alterations he wanted added a challenge as well. It was also a useful exercise in working with Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper and the Cretacolour pastel pencils that I had recently started to use.
