And What Have You Spotted?
And What Have You Spotted?

One thing about art is that you always get better and learn more with practice and while I’d been doing more art by this point, I hadn’t really practiced using Hahnemuhle Velour paper as I have tended to concentrate on using Clairefontaine Pastelmat. I had another sheet of Velour left over from an SAA trial pack of pastel paper and used it to follow a Vic Bearcroft workshop online. I chose this one, which he called ‘Paws for Thought’, because I’ve always liked cats. The other result of this workshop was that I bought some more Hahnemuhle Velour paper to work on as it is really good for animal paintings. At some point I might even find the time to do some!
