Woodland Sentinel
In 2015, the SAA set a challenge to create a world record for the largest number of paintings exhibited under one roof. Each painting or drawing had to fit a standard Trade Card size (2.5 x 3.5 in, or 6.4 x 8.9 cm) and you could submit as many as you liked, with the suggestion of at least three. This drawing was one of the three I submitted and is actually part of a larger drawing I'd completed when I was in an art group in 2011, so I just extracted this section to use in the challenge. It was brilliant to see my three paintings exhibited with all the others on display boards at the SAA headquarters and at roadshows in 2016. The final total of paintings and drawings submitted? 32,283.
