Horse Portrait

This pastel portrait of a horse was one of the later paintings I completed based on the tutorials of Colin Bradley. It was one of the more advanced workshops that used 11 pastel pencil colours. I'm probably a bit too tall to ride horses, as I once found out on a holiday pony trekking trip in my youth, when I was given a horse to ride that was a little too short. I’ll have to see if I can dig out the photo of the world’s first six-legged horse and put it on the NEWS page.

Medium: Pastel
Size: 26 x 38 cm
Materials: Fabriano Ingres pastel paper. Faber Castell pastel pencils
Mountboard Colour: Not mounted
