Scotney Castle
This pastel painting of Scotney Castle in Kent, England, is one of my early development pieces that was painted as I was learning the techniques of pastel pencil art using the kits of art tutor Colin Bradley. The kit for this painting uses just six pastel pencil colours to produce a remarkably detailed painting, but it works better if you add a few more colours, as I did here.
